UseMyStats Privacy Policy

At Use My Stats and Expansion Computers, Inc. (henceforth may be referred to as “Use My Stats”, “ECI” “we”, “us” or “our”), we care about your personal data, so we have prepared this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to explain how we collect, use and share it.

This Privacy Policy details the personal data we receive about you, how we process it and your rights and obligations in relation to your personal data. ECI, a company registered at 4714 NE Riverside Loop, McMinnville, OR 97128, United States of America is the data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and any relevant local legislation (“Data Protection Laws”).

By using or accessing the Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We may update our Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we do this and the changes are material, we will post a notice that we have made changes to this Privacy Policy.

This Policy applies to the data processing that takes place through or in connection with the following: (a) your use of UseMyStats.com or any other software of Expansion Computers, Inc or any of its subsidiaries (by “software” we mean computer programs in any form, including local installations such as desktop and mobile applications as well as software in the form of on-demand services such as web and cloud applications). We shall use the word “Service” in this Policy to designate the above software, and the same word will designate any service, resource or other benefit that Expansion Computers, Inc. or its subsidiary offers as a part of or in connection with such software; (b) your visiting, or accessing resources that form part of, any website of Expansion Computers, Inc or its subsidiary (we shall use the word “Website” to designate any such site), including, for example, the site at usemystats.com; or (c) your communication or interaction with us; insofar as the above activities are not subject to another privacy policy or similar document.

Information We Collect

When you use Use My Stats you provide us with information you submit via the Service, and we collect information regarding your use of the Service as you interact with the Service.

Information you provide

Through the registration process, you will provide us with your name, company name (if applicable) and e-mail address. You will also provide us with your payment transaction information if you choose to pay for the Service.

Activity Data

When you use the Service, you will submit information and content to your account. We will also generate data about your use of our Services including your engagement in statistic activities on the Service, or your sending of messages and otherwise transmitting information to other users and to ECI (“Activity Data”). We also collect technical data about how you interact with our Services; for more information, see the section titled Cookies.

Cookies

When you enter the Website, we collect information about your computer, your browser and your IP address (a unique address that identifies your computer on the Internet). When you use our mobile Application, we collect your device type, your device ID, and your IP address.

In addition, we store certain information from your browser using “cookies.” A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to deny or accept the cookie feature; however, you should note that cookies may be necessary to provide you certain features available on the Website (e.g., customized delivery of information).

Selling or Sharing Information

ECI does not sell or share information gathered through the service. We will only use the data for our own uses including, but not limited to, marketing, testing, communication, etc.

Information Obtained By Third Parties

To support and enhance the Service, we work with marketing and analytics service providers such as Google and MailChimp (collectively, “Third Party Advertising Service Providers”). These Third Party Advertising Service Providers collect and use non-personally identifiable information, such as your mobile device ID, about your visits to and use of the Website and mobile Application, as well as other websites in order to serve you content tailored to meet your preferences and likely interests. Aggregate demographic and interest data will also be used for market research purposes.

Primary 3rd Party Systems We Use

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics which is a web analytics tool that helps us understand how users engage with the Website. Like many services, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track user interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how users use our site. This information is used to compile reports and to help us improve our Website. The reports disclose website trends without identifying individual visitors. SendGrid: We utilize SendGrid as our email provider. Any emails sent by the Service are sent through SendGrid to help us ensure delivery of the emails and to track delivery statistics and help us improve our emails and their effectiveness. FreshDesk: To provide quality and timely customer service we use FreshDesk which is a third party web application that all of Use My Stats customer support matters are run through. You will be taken to FreshDesk by selecting Help from the Use My Stats website. FreshDesk will obtain your name, email address and account name if you submit a support ticket. We may change third party providers we use at a future date and this list is subject to change based on changes to the Service. We will keep this list updated.

Data Subject Rights and Retention

You can manage your account information at https://web.usemystats.com/Campus to update, amend, and correct your account/company’s information.

You can manage your payment information at https://web.usemystats.com/Payment to update, amend, and correct your information.

You can manage your personal information at https://web.usemystats.com/User to update, amend, and correct your personal information.

You also have the following rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you, unless provided otherwise by local law:

  • To request access to, or erasure of, the personal data we hold about you.
  • To request us to restrict the processing of the personal data we hold about you.
  • To object to us processing personal data relating to you.
  • Where you have given us consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
  • To export the personal data you have provided to Use My Stats in a format that can be transferred electronically to a third party.
  • To delete your account with Use My Stats by contacting support and requesting your data be removed.

Use My Stats will retain your data until your account is deleted, after which point we will retain anonymous data collected through the Service, including Activity Data, which may be used by Use My Stats. Your data may also be included with other data in backups of our data until those back ups expire and are deleted.

Please note that some of these rights are not absolute. In some cases, we may refuse a request to exercise particular rights if complying with it meant that we are no longer able to meet our contractual obligation to provide you with particular products and services. We will keep you informed as to the actions that we can take when you make your request.

Integrations

UseMyStats offers several integrations with other software, such as Google Analytics and QuickBooks, to assist you with data entry. In setting up each integration, you must authorize that service to supply UseMyStats with the specified data. UseMyStats then regularly pulls in data and enters that data as statistical data on your behalf so that you can compare and graph them.

Any imported data is entirely your data and the import of the information is entirely automated. UseMyStats personnel will only access data about any specific integrations to assist in debugging or to remove said information as part of a data removal request.

Refund Policy

If you’re not happy with your service for any reason, just send us an email at support@usemystats.com and let us know why. We’d be happy to refund all unused money. Then if we handle your concern later, you’re welcome to come back and re-activate your account.
